The piece consists of a life-size wooden house containing an animated light. Its title refers to the Elvis Presley song “Heartbreak Hotel”, and the light is animated to pulse to the rhythm of that song.

Heartbeat was installed in 2013 with a support from the Finnish Cultural Foundation. The installation still exist in its original location.
